2025

I think it is 2025 as February 2024 has passed.

mistake in announcement it said 2024 not 2025

Well I said it before and I'll say it again I'm in love with a fictional character named Eve Dallas 😘

60th? Good grief!

Do you know when will audio version be available for preorder?

Feb. 2025???

Whoop! Can’t wait!!

Can't wait

OMG! That is an awesome teaser!!!

Wow. Cant wait

Pre ordered the hardcover book and for my Kindle. Can’t wait! Awesome cover!👍

Typo - should be 2025

Is that 2025?

Thank you so much! My favorite series.

I love Eve Dallas and Roarke!!

I have both on my calendar to get. I have the whole series. Love them all.

Can’t wait!!!!

Sigh. It feels like I'm always waiting for the next In Death except for the two days (or one, if I'm being honest) when I'm reading the newest In Death. Some days the time passes slowly.

UK Ebook version of Bonded not available yet. Sigh

I am reading now part 28. In Holland i get 2 books in 2 years.

This says February of 2024.

Can’t wait. Wow 60. And I have read them all several times.

Doing the Dance of Joy!

I'm so excited!

I tend to forget that Eve meets Charles Monroe in person before she meets Roarke in person. My first impression was of a slick charming man who could be important to Eve down the road. -Laura

“Eve?”

It was only on a reread that I realised that also, I thought he was charming but definitely not the right type for Eve x

Yet we have never even read an actual description beyond "vid star handsome".

For some reason I always assumed Charles was a black man, maybe I misread the description of his black shirt? But I pictured his as a cross between Sidney Pottier and the guy who played Huggy Bear!

I love Charles but that introduction didn't endear me to him. Too slick!

Even on first impression I thought there was more substance there. Just the way he says “bribes aside”.

It remains my favorite in the series.

Yes, this is true. But we didn't know until books later how lonely Charles was even though he liked doing his job. 🙂 It wasn't until Louise...I will add I love his character from the beginning.

I just finished re-reading Naked in Death last night. Interesting to see and remember how all the people I've gotten to know in later books met Eve and see the connections that were formed early on.

Just want to say that your books are my mental . . . Treats. I won’t say junk food but they’re just as satisfying.

I liked Charles from the start but I would have been surprised if Eve was interested in a relationship with him

I laughed when I read it the 1st time and thought he’s funny enough to be a friend.

About 6 months ago I reread Naked & enjoyed it JUST as much as the first time. I remember wondering if those 2 would hook up the first time I read it. I'm so glad she chose Roarke!!

He struck me as a man who knows and understands women, at least most of them. When he meets Eve, she intrigues him to no end. Him calling her "Lieutenant Sugar" makes me laugh.

That was funny considering it was Eve. Lieutenant Sugar

He was lucky she didn't chop off his hand, I came to like him later, I am afraid i am more like Eve not comfortable with his job..

I love Charles, he has grown too. But first time reading about Charles was slick, knows woman and very charming. He made me laugh.

I've always loved Charles! My first impression was, Eve is going to really like this guy.

Charles has always been a favorite secondary character! He gets Eve on every level.

Charming man, could give Eve a run for her money

I love to read the evolution of their friendship 💕

And he still calls her “Lieutenant Sugar”🤪😎🥰

Charles is awesome and so happy he found the woman meant for him.

Nah. Charles and Louise are perfect. Eve would never have seen past what he did for a living - just like if Roarke had still been a (full-time) thief and smuggler - and Charles would have resented that.

At first I thought he could be guilty of something because he was so slick. But it also took a bit to warm up to him, and now he's family

It was clear there was some type of connection. We just didn’t know where it would go then. It matured beautifully.

Whitney orders Eve to the scene of the DeBlass crime in the first few pages of Naked, but I waited to share the first impression when we meet him in person in his office. The physical description gives us focus, but I was more impressed by how quickly we know he has Eve's back. -Laura

Text reads:
Whitney’s smile widened. He had a good, ordinary face, probably the one he was born with. But when he smiled and meant it, the flash of white teeth against the cocoa colored skin turned the plain features into the special.
“I didn’t hear that. And you didn’t hear me tell you to give him no more than the obvious facts.”

He hated politics, hated DeBlass

The one thing I have always admired about Whitney is that he always backs his officers!

FINALLY! I now have all of the IN DEATH SERIES on Audible, now I can retire my cassettes and CD’s.

It was immediately obvious that he was in Eve’s corner and would be in all circumstances.

protector

You can count to Whitney to be fair

Whitney, impressed me as the boss, everyone wants, strong, trustworthy and one who stands with those, who work for him.

Probably my 5th reading of Naked.

He's a strong character with power but wears that power well. He puts justice first and has his people's back when needed. I can't remember which book but in one of the earlier books he steps up and puts himself in front of Eve and tells the agent you are going to have to explain yourself to my LT, my chief, mayor and myself, you can start with me. One of the best Whitney interactions. He was pissed and wanted answers for his cops. He's a good cop.

Whitney definitely has Eve’s back!!!

Whitney admires Eve's tenacity, her cut to the quick reports and the way she handles her team.

The beginning of it all, Eve Dallas and Rourke

Because if these quotes, I am rereading naked !

Loved Whitney from the first. He's the best boss! He doesn't hesitate to dress down when he needs to, but he also doesn't hesitate to compliment and support. <3

He's a good cop, fair and just and always behind his cops.

I liked Whitney from the beginning. A kind heart.

What’s it like to listen to these wonderful books? Who narrates them? I can’t imagine anyone sounding like the wonderful Roarke!! ❤️‍🩹

No bull here

I loved him from the start

The description automatically gives you the feel that he’s down to earth and confident in that he hasn’t had “work” done.

He will always stand with his officers and have their backs!

Whitney has been a central character since the first book and one with a heart. Sometimes he’s tuff but he’s always fair. Even if I disagree with him now and again lol

I can't tell you how happy I was to meet Whitney and know he has his good cops' backs.

Oh I loved him immediately. 🙂

I have just started reading the in death books

We meet Anna Whitney -- sporting glittering drops at her ears and the perfect coiffure -- pretty early on in the series. Even before we get the physical description of her husband. My first impression: Guardian at the gate. -Laura

Text reads:
“We’re entertaining, lieutenant.”
“Yes, ma’am. I apologize.” Fucking politics, Eve thought as she forced a smile. “It’s urgent.”
“Isn’t it always?”

Anna Whitney is amazing. 😂 I died at "Isn't it always?" When I read Naked for the first time.

Eve is as scared of Anna Whitley as her commander is. Very imposing force

Anna Whitney is as formidable, in her way, as her husband. She comes across, in this instance, as intolerant of her husband's career requirements vis a vis leaving work at the office.

Formidable

I was not a big fan of Mrs Whitney

Love Eve and Rouke. ❤️❤️

Mrs. Whitney makes little appearances, but makes a strong impact.

Yep, Anna, she’s the top boss!

My initial thinking was she was going to be more the political, social climber and less a cop's wife. Say cop instead of career Police Officer because one is not necessarily the same as the other in Dallas world:-)

Oooh Anna Whitney 👑 she truly is the Guardian at the Gates of Home. She came across as kinda snotty/snooty at first, irked me because she looked at Eve as something unpleasant that invaded HER space.

Formidable and caring.

I agree with you. Definitely Guardian at the Gates. She's formidable. With unwavering compassion for others. She's perfect for the Commander.

Formidable is the perfect word for her at the beginning and later.

I am going to start reading them again from the first it has been a long time.

Whew… condescending much? But, later on she does prove to be a true friend and loyal to many people and does actually help Eve on a couple of occasions.

I love the fact that Eve is a little bit afraid of her 🤣

Anna is so imposing. I absolutely love scenes with her.

Married to a cop, understands it, but needs to make it known she doesn’t always like it

She was intimidating even then😊

She’s one of the two characters that scares(?)/intimidates Dallas. I won’t say the other one here.

Definitely a guardian.

I liked when commander Whitney had that green stuff on his desk that Anna said he had to drink. And another time didn’t he have a fish in a bowl that Anna thought would help him?

Love Anna Whitney x

First impression- intimidating, no nonsense. Protective of her personal space.

Anna serves and protects the Commander and their family. Another strong woman.
